Expat Academy Migration Advisory Committee to Review Australian Points Based System  Our new Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has referred many times to the benefits of an “Australian-style” points based system as a way of selecting the brightest and the best to come to the UK to participate in the country’s economic development in a post-Brexit environment.

The new Home Secretary has now commissioned the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) to review the Australian immigration system and similar systems to see whether they contain practices for the UK to follow in the new immigration framework to be launched in 2021.
