Companies based in Mainland UAE with more than 50 employees will need to increase their current Emiratisation rates by 2% at the end of 2022. The authorities will actively enforce this in 2023; those establishments that do not comply from 1st January 2023 onwards will risk paying ‘financial contributions’.
