With the outbreak of the Covid-19 situation in March 2020 many employees were forced to work from home. As such, a European guideline was put in place to confirm that changes to work patterns which were necessary due to Covid-19, would not trigger a change in social security. This guideline is to expire by 30 June 2022 and will not be extended.
