As companies review their mobility approaches to deal with the HR implications of the coronavirus pandemic, we increasingly hear that “mobility should be better connected with talent management.” This suggestion is not new, but solving the issue is becoming increasingly urgent as HR teams need to justify their mobility approaches and budgets in a new context. This module looks at the reasons employees may take an international assignment and how this fits into the talent management cycle, including selection and long-term career management.
