‘Event season’...what is this season people talk about? Don’t seasons come and go? Granted, there was a small summer period where events were less frequent, but the planning didn’t stop! I remember joining my first Global Mobility in-house role and people said then: ‘Oh yeah, year-end and the new year are the mad times due to compensation reviews and bonuses’. But again, it didn’t die down after that. Over a decade on, I’m starting to wonder if the are any quiet times in the world of Global Mobility. After a decade, I’m also starting to wonder if I am actually still bloated or if age has caught up…!
