Huddle Discussion: Regional Challenges & Real Talk
10:15 - 11:00
This is your chance to get stuck in and tackle the real issues. We've set out the big challenges below, and you and your roundtable can choose which ones matter most to you. Forget the jargon—what’s really on your plate? Let’s get to the root of these issues together:
-
Navigating complex, ever-changing immigration policies across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
-
Addressing the rising cost of living in key cities and what it means for compensation and benefit approaches.
-
Managing hybrid, remote work and business traveller policies and how to ensure compliance.
-
Tackling the challenges of cost efficiency, increasing employee expectations and business demands
The Imminent Talent Crisis & Your Role To Combat It

Lunch & Networking
13:00 - 14:00
An opportunity to connect with your peers over lunch and build valuable relationships.
Huddle Discussion: Global Mobility's Identity Crisis
14:00 - 14:45
Let's tackle a fundamental question head-on: is Global Mobility facing an identity crisis? We'll explore why GM's purpose and role can be unclear within an organisation, where it should report and how this impacts alignment with key stakeholders.
How do you know if your mobility program is THRIVE-ing?
14:45 - 15:15
Global Mobility is undergoing fundamental disruption, from AI adoption and rising regulatory complexity to shifting employee expectations, cost pressures, and evolving business needs. Traditional measures like efficiency, compliance, and cost control no longer capture mobility’s full impact.
To stay relevant, mobility needs a new lens: THRIVE — a framework for measuring impact that goes beyond logistics and ROI. In this session, AIRINC will discuss how to:
- Move beyond tactical metrics to demonstrate strategic value
- Refocus on outcomes that benefit the business, employees, and mobility teams
- Apply the THRIVE framework to define what success looks like today

Testimonials
Thank you for a fantastic APAC huddle. It was a really well thought out agenda, with a great mix of interesting topical areas presented and lots of opportunity to discuss. Another great opportunity to share ideas, make new contacts/expand network in the region and of course that reassurance that there are other people out there facing similar challenges. I always come away from an Expat Academy event thinking my time has been really well spent!
