Essentials Global Mobility Course

This course was excellent, particularly because it was a project management course specifically for Global Mobility.  It was really useful to hear from the speakers on the types of projects they have been involved with, how they managed those projects and suggestions/learnings that they were able to share with us.  I liked the fact we have been given a template that we can use to outline our projects, and even though it may not be detailed enough to complete all project steps, it still gives an outline of the areas that need to be put into place.

This session provided a great overview for anyone new to the function or just want to know more about how the function provides a strategic business support. We learnt a lot of good concepts and sharing with fellow participants. I would recommend this.

The Expat Academy and GMPD courses have been such a great way to shake up how I think about Global Mobility. The Intermediate Training Course was spot-on -  really relevant, genuinely interesting, and kept everyone engaged. One of the best parts is connecting with other GM teams, hearing what they're tackling, and realising we’re all navigating similar challenges. It’s a great reminder that there’s so much we can learn from each other. 

It was great to be guided toward tools that can help make project management easier and less fiddly. The key takeaway I took was how to engage stakeholders and drive people doing the work I need to do so I can deliver. It was really useful to discuss the way project management failure sits with the project manager regardless of who contributed and strategies on ensuring delivery happens inside timelines through reporting and RACI/accountability.Stuart has such a great way of bringing to life how to use your voice and really gave me confidence on how to better manage myself to manage the projects around me.

 

 

I have attended the mastering the Global mobility RFP Process. The training was well organized and the information shared in the training was well structured providing me with a great framework for doing an RFP. We are currently thinking of doing an RFP process for our tax provider an our relocation service provider, so this training has and will be very valuable when we decide to move forward with this. Stuart has been an excellent trainer explaining everything in a calm and well organized way!

Having never worked on an RFP before, this was a completely new process for me. It was very well structured, easy to follow, and gave me a solid foundation i didn't have before.

I enjoyed the Mastering the Global Mobility RFP Process seminar. It was detailed and clearly structured, covering the end‑to‑end RFP process. I appreciated the mix of participants, from those new to RFPs to those with prior experience, which made the session inclusive and well‑balanced. For me, the session was useful as a knowledge benchmark and provided some practical takeaways, although it would likely be most valuable for those actively conducting an RFP at present. I still found it engaging and appreciate having access to the recording, which will be helpful to revisit specific tips in the future.

The course was highly informative, well structured, and delivered with clarity throughout. The content was logically organised, making the topics easy to follow and understand, and was supported by clear explanations. Stuart, as facilitator, demonstrated strong SME knowledge and communicated key concepts in an engaging manner. Overall, the course provided real value and will be a useful and effective resource for approaching, planning and structuring future RFPs.

 

The course was really detailed and at the right level for beginners and those of have been part of an RFP previously. Stuart was thorough and my team and I went away with some great tips and areas to focus our attention on when managing an RFP.

 

A great policy course - clear, informative and very well delivered. I came away with a much better understanding and plenty of practical takeaways that will support my day-to-day work.
