Enjoy a warm welcome from the Expat Academy team. We will run you through the agenda and set the scene for the session.
Huddle Discussion - Is there a seat?
14:05 - 14:55
Forget the tired old debate about earning a 'Seat at the Table'. Let's be honest, that seat often doesn't exist, and chasing it is a waste of time.
In this discursive session, we're cutting through the noise to focus on what genuinely matters: developing untouchable strategic influence for Global Mobility within your organisation.
We'll discuss the practical steps you need to take:
-
Stakeholder Engagement that commands attention
-
The Power of Pragmatic Data
-
Meeting the Business Where It Is
This is about building influence, not asking for permission.
How to achieve your 2026 mobility resolution
14:55 - 15:25
In an era of numerous macro trends impacting the war for talent, mobility must demonstrate measurable business impact via continuous value creation for the business and employees alike.
This session will provide insights and strategies to align assignments with business priorities, ensure cost effectiveness, and reframe mobility as a growth enabler.
Break
15:25 - 15:35

Huddle Discussion - The value of AI in Mobility
15:35 - 16:20
We know specific AI GM tools are emerging, and we know the genuine challenges of using sensitive employee data with open platforms like ChatGPT or Gemini.
But the reality is: AI can give you back the time you never seem to have.
This session is your hands-on, pragmatic guide to leveraging AI now. We're bypassing the distant 'dream scenarios' and focusing purely on the practical application that takes work off your plate:
- Practical Tools: Automating the Daily Grind
- Data Command: Using AI for Actionable Metrics
- Prompt Engineering: Mastering the Art of Asking
Think of this as your immediate plan for greater efficiency, delivered without the tech jargon.
Wrap up and finish
16:20 - 16:30
The Expat Academy team will wrap up the huddle with a fabulous overview of what we have discussed and share some insights and updates from the team

Testimonials
Thank you for a fantastic APAC huddle. It was a really well thought out agenda, with a great mix of interesting topical areas presented and lots of opportunity to discuss. Another great opportunity to share ideas, make new contacts/expand network in the region and of course that reassurance that there are other people out there facing similar challenges. I always come away from an Expat Academy event thinking my time has been really well spent!
