What will be covered
Moving individuals to work in another country is complex, whether an extended business trip or a long-term assignment. The role of global mobility is to ensure the process is managed smoothly from beginning to end. In this course we will look at the main things you need to consider. We will review the many different policies and processes to manage before, during and at the end of an international assignment.
Most importantly, the whole experience of going on assignment needs to be positive for the employee and their family if their valuable international experience is to be retained by the organisation when the assignment ends. We will consider how to manage the ‘human’ aspects of an assignment such as family concerns, DE&I and well-being and how they can contribute to a great employee experience and a successful assignment. Finally, we will review current trends impacting mobility.

Testimonials
Thank you for a fantastic APAC huddle. It was a really well thought out agenda, with a great mix of interesting topical areas presented and lots of opportunity to discuss. Another great opportunity to share ideas, make new contacts/expand network in the region and of course that reassurance that there are other people out there facing similar challenges. I always come away from an Expat Academy event thinking my time has been really well spent!
