Agenda
Day 1
Registration and Coffee
09:00 - 10:00
Kick off the day by grabbing your backstage pass. We’ll have the coffee brewing and breakfast waiting as you catch up with the community before the main show begins. It’s a chance to settle in, find your feet, and start the networking early in a relaxed environment. No pressure, no buzzwords—just good food and great company before we open the house doors.
Welcome & Introduction – Welcome to the House Party
10:00 - 10:30
The Expat Academy Team will open the day with introductions and provide you with all the information you need to have a successful day at our house party. We’ll take part in activities and get to know fellow Expat Academy members. This is the conference where everyone is a winner!
A New Perspective on Perks: Designing Leaner, Smarter Assignments
10:30 - 11:30
Global Mobility teams are under increasing pressure to scrutinise every line item of the assignment package. How do you keep your mobility programme competitive when the business is asking for savings?
This interactive session explores how your peers are navigating cost-cutting conversations with the business and finding genuine efficiencies. From virtual home searches and recorded tax briefings to self-service portals, we will discuss the practical shifts that save money without stalling momentum. Bring your "battle stories" and successful wins as we tap into the hive mind to balance fiscal responsibility with competitive policy design
Networking Break
11:30 - 12:00
Time to step away from the main stage for a quick breather. Grab a fresh coffee, refuel, and use the interval to catch up with colleagues across the room. It’s a simple, informal break to stretch your legs and keep the conversation going before the next round begins.
Nothing to Declare?
12:00 - 13:00
Think you’ve mastered the complexities of 2026 compliance? Think again. Step into the spotlight for a high-energy, interactive session tackling the "Gotchas" of Tax, Immigration, and Benefit approaches.
We’re ditching the slide decks for live, high-pressure case studies. You’ll need a sharp ear for detail and a healthy dose of scepticism to navigate the reality behind the rhetoric. It’s authentic expertise delivered with a twist.
Lunch & Networking
13:00 - 14:00
Take a well-earned break to refuel with some great food. It is the perfect time to grab a plate, mingle, and dive deeper into the morning’s discussions. No set agenda or formal seating—just a relaxed atmosphere to connect, share insights, and enjoy the hospitality before we kick off the afternoon sessions
Our Survey says…
14:00 - 15:00
Join a panel of Global Mobility leaders as they go head-to-head on the industry's most debated topics. Each expert will champion a different strategic approach to the challenges of 2026, leaving it to you to decide the winner.
Discuss the options with your table, cast your individual vote, and see if your strategy matches the room. It’s live benchmarking with a human touch—authentic insights, peer debate, and the ultimate reveal of what our survey really says.
Networking Break
15:00 - 15:30
Step away from the spotlight for a quick breather. It’s time to refuel with a fresh coffee and use this afternoon interval to reconnect with the room. A simple, informal chance to stretch your legs and compare notes on the day’s discussions before we head into the final session.
Keynote Speaker: “See The Person”
15:30 - 16:30
For our 2026 keynote, we’re joined by Louisa Clarke, co-author of The Human Centric Leader. In an industry often focused on costs, business outcomes and logistical manoeuvres, Louisa will explore how to win the balancing act between business necessity and the human experience.
This session is about moving past automation, process efficiency and cost management moments and putting the heart back into Global Mobility, the people we support. Learn how to lead with authentic empathy and ensure every assignee feels like a winner in your organisation.
Expat Academy Awards & Closing
16:30 - 17:00
We'll be wrapping up the day with our Expat Academy awards and closing remarks from the Expat Academy team.
Networking Drinks
17:00 - 18:00
Join us for drinks and networking as we celebrate another spectacular day at the Expat Academy Conference.

Testimonials
I highly recommend Expat Academy to anyone navigating the complexities of Global Mobility today. In less than a year, I've significantly expanded my understanding of GM and cultivated a supportive network. None of this would have been achievable without my membership to Expat Academy.
The Expat Academy Conference was a fantastic event. An excellent opportunity to expand my knowledge and to adopt a fresh perspective on various aspects of Mobility while also staying informed about the industry developments from my peers. The chance to network with new contacts from all over Global Mobility alongside colleagues of old was invaluable. I got a real sense that Global Mobility is an exciting field with a strong sense of support and community.
James Bowerbank
I’ve attended the Expat Annual Academy conference for the last 3 years now and its always a highlight in the GM events calendar. I always look forward to the keynote speech and this year, Roberto Forzoni, gave an engaging and discussion-provoking keynote speech on team psychology, with a bit of magic to woo and mystify the crowd! As always, the event was a great opportunity to network with fellow GM professionals across a range of industries and supplier bases and I found it particularly valuable catching up with others working in the Law firm space and brainstorming around our common challenges.
