ROI – Strategy, Tracking, and Communication
10:15 - 11:15
Measuring the Return on Investment (ROI) for global assignments remains one of the most significant challenges for Global Mobility professionals. This Huddle breaks down the components of true ROI, moving beyond simple cost-to-company metrics. We will examine how to track value effectively, how to increase the impact of every move, and how to tailor your reporting to resonate with different stakeholders. Learn how to turn data into a compelling narrative that demonstrates the strategic worth of your team.

With expert "Consultants" on hand and unexpected curveballs thrown into the mix, you will need to think on your feet to develop a solution. The session culminates in a high-stakes pitch to our mock Board of Directors. It is a unique opportunity to test your problem-solving skills and learn from the collective expertise of your peers.

Stakeholder Networking and Relationship Building
16:00 - 16:55
A common frustration in Global Mobility is the lack of "early sight" regarding upcoming moves. However, this is often a symptom of gaps in the internal network rather than a lack of process. This session moves beyond C-suite engagement to focus on the mid-level stakeholders who drive business decisions. We will explore how to build deeper, more influential relationships across the organisation to ensure that GM is consulted as a strategic partner from the very beginning of the talent conversation.

Testimonials
Expat Academy really is a fantastic community, offering an opportunity to meet with fellow GM professionals and discuss the emerging trends. There are always little nuggets of information after an event that can be taken back to the wider team.
Will Scrupps
The best thing about the Expat Academy membership is the community, everyone is very willing and able to help and support - it’s such a great resource to be able to tap in to. I really love the benchmarking service, we can submit a question and get responses from a huge range of companies which we can then feed into our policy development, our decision making and our negotiations with the business and it helps us to be competitive.
Fiona Shaw
An excellent range of relevant topics pitched at the right level. Have taken away a few golden nuggets so a day well spent!
Sonal Wadher
A great opportunity to connect with colleagues from different companies and industries and exchange ideas, experiences and challenges. The covered topics and the brief inputs from industry specialists , provided a useful steer for open and constructive discussions on current and future trends, sharing in cases , best practices and practical solutions. Overall a great use of time.
