At Expat Academy, community has always been central to everything we do.
It means showing up for people. Supporting them through challenges. Celebrating successes. Creating opportunities. And building connections that genuinely make working in Global Mobility feel less isolating and more collaborative.
Over the years, we’ve worked hard to create a community where people feel welcomed, supported, and understood - whether they are long-standing leaders in the profession, just beginning their career journey, or navigating a period of change between roles.
Because we care deeply about the people behind the job titles.
That care shapes everything we do.
It’s there in our events, where professionals come together to learn, connect, and openly share experiences. It’s there in our GMPD learning and development support, helping members continue to grow their expertise and confidence throughout their careers. And it’s there in the everyday conversations, introductions, benchmarking, and support that happen quietly behind the scenes across the Expat Academy community.
But our sense of community extends beyond our members too.
We genuinely care about the wider Global Mobility profession and the ecosystem that supports it. That includes our expert partners, suppliers, and the wider network of professionals who contribute their knowledge, time, and experience to help strengthen the industry as a whole.
And importantly, we care about people during the moments when they need community most.
Recently, we were delighted to welcome professionals currently between roles to join us at our Global Workforce Colloquium, we have also supported them through our GMPD Programme. Staying connected, visible, and supported during career transition matters and creating space for that support is something we feel strongly about.
Because kindness matters.
Support matters.
And communities are strongest when people look out for one another.
At Expat Academy, we are incredibly proud of the community we’ve built together over the last 15 years and even more excited about where it continues to grow next.
